Our facilities are self contained and all groups launch from our private dock. We focus on small groups and a high quality of experience.

Marine Center Representative
Summary
Our company offers employees an opportunity to work in an established marine activity operation (since 1986) with a focus on marine wildlife education. We encouraged staff not only to use existing abilities but to develop new skills. We value those that work in our operation and strive to provide a positive working environment.
Duties
Applicant will be responsible for:
- providing company information to traveling public.
- making reservation in person and by telephone for marine activities.
- handling and maintaining equipment.
- hosting clients before and after activities.
- operating VHF radio and tracking vessels and kayak fleets.
- maintaining marine base.
- cash accounting.
Qualifications
- have an interest and ability in sales – (training provided).
- enjoy speaking with people.
- build a knowledge base about our educational tours and wildlife viewing programs.
- have an interest in learning about a small tourism focused business.
- actively promote educational experience.

Sea Kayak Day Guide
Job Description
- Duties include teaching kayak techniques and safety procedures oriented to day paddles.
- Presenting an educational program while paddling focusing on the marine and terrestrial environments.
- Kayak and gear maintenance

Qualifications
- Level 1 Guide certification
- First Aid
- Leadership skills
- Teaching ability

Marine Wildlife Viewing Guide
Duties
- Operate 12 passenger vessel – zodiac and covered vessels
- Hosting clients pre / post trip and dealing with their concerns
- Ensure medical checks are performed
- Prepare people for being on the water
- Ensure floater suits are worn correctly
- Know how to use all onboard equipment
- Wear a PFD & carry emergency equipment at alltimes while on the water
- Lead group on interpretive boat tour
- Operate marine tour in a safe manner
- Wash / Maintain / repair equipment
- Report vessel operation problems to supervisor
- Complete vessel log at end of day.
- Fuel, oil and clean up after tour finished
- Maintain vessel in an orderly fashion
- Keep tie up float clean and orderly adjacent to
- vessels
- Report all incidents and complete appropriate form
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Be knowledgeable about marine and terrestrial environment
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- SVOP
- Small Domestic Vessel – Basic Safety (SDV-BS)
- Marine Basic First Aid
- Restricted Operator Certificate
